restaurants of all type. few hi end restaurants many low end restaurants. here in nanchang it seems every street vendor uses it.
in hohhot i would often see the restaurant owners coming back from downtown with 5-7 big bottles of oil. here in nanchang i have never seen it.
seems to be a problem more in the south (others will know more about this)

Just assume everyone uses it, and that way you will only be pleasently surprised if you find out that you've only been eating it 75% of the time.
