I've always wondered why Festivus is not bigger in China.
Happy Festi-vity-vus to you too and everybody else!
Is this an Estonian or Lithuanian holiday of some kind?
Festivus? What is that, Latin? 'Madonna me patre, Santana, Tori Amos, filitus sante, cumon rock me Amadeus'. I know all that stuff.
Actually the only Latin I know is 'carpe diem' which we all know is 'seize the day' as well as 'felicitus parvus canis calidus' which is slightly less well known and means 'Happiness is a warm puppy'.
Carpe canis calidus:)
wiki says its "a holiday celebrated by those frustrated with the commercialism and pressure of the Christmas holiday season."
I wonder if there is anything like that for the Chinese New Year/Spring Festival.
Thanks
I saw a lot of people today buying " christmass cake"
