When I am in China I get mild headaches daily. When I return to Canada the headaches are gone after a week or two, then when I return to China the headaches also return.

You're probably right, that and the air. Actually, now that I think of it, it could very well be my gf too.

My health has only gotten better since I arrived. However, my city has among the lowest air pollution rates in the north, and I only buy food from big supermarkets (and wash thoroughly with bottled water). Then again, Chinese food is so bad compared to American/American Chinese food, that I've been able to lose 60 lbs. since arriving here last August.

not sure loosing that amount of weight in that time span would constitute being healthy, unless you throw in the words "excessive exercise"

It's healthy for me, I'm morbidly obese. That's actually not so large a percentage of my total weight, I have much more work to do. I'm filling it in with as much muscle as I can, since the loose skin is starting to add up. But yes, it did require a sizable amount of walking, weightlifting, tennis, hiking, etc.

then go for it. I actually lost maybe 15Kg last summer in just a couple of months, but I did introduce the concept of going to the pool and outswim all the locals. good luck

I haven't had any health issues since coming here, but then again I have an immune system that would put a superhero to shame. Oh damn, I hope I did't just jinx myself!
