Q: Have you ever received anything free while staying here?

SO this is to see if the age old question truly is true.....nothing is free in this world. Would you care to disagree with this because you have gotten something free before? I'm talking about free where you didn't have to do anything like enter a contest or anything like that.

Somebody did give me their toys away for free because they were leaving China....that's the only time I can really think of something like that. I've received free pens before from some companies too! Nothing really that big!

When I came to China first time in 2010, me and my 2 colleagues from back home got a lot of free alcohol at a few bars in Suzhou. We just had to promise to come there a few times a month, which we did. Every time we got at least 1 bottle of free whiskey with free ice tea.

They wanted foreigners in their club, we wanted free alcohol. Win/win wink

I got points for free.many times., cause you ask stupid questions, don't even have to think of an answer

I see you have posted your 3 matty questions for the day for points. Let me guess and you answered 10 questions for points with useless dribble.

Surprisingly, I'd always get stuff for free from my girlfriends. They would always say "you're a student and I have a job, so I pay". And they never let open my wallet (except the last one I had, but she wasn't exactly loaded, so it was understandable).

But I guess that's just compensation for all the times I got screwed over.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
