Q: How do you like Anhui Province and Fuyang City in particular?

Hello. If you've lived in these places please let me know your likes and dislikes about them in detail.

Thank you! Smile

Anhui province is OK,  a mountain called "Huang Shan" is very famous in China.

It's economy is not as good as Jiangsu Province although they are neighbors.

Fuyang is the fourth biggest city and has the biggest population in Anhui. it's a kind of traffic hub of North-West Anhui.

Lived in Anhui for a few months a while back. One of the best provinces I've ever been to, personally. The people are usually super kind and friendly no matter where we went. In Hunan, people were just...  argh... argrrrrrrrrrsdfghasdfhasdh.... ARTGHDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDJASDJ.

Wouldn't recommend Fuyang, personally. Anhui is great, though.

I live in Wuhu. it's ok. It's a college and manufacturing city. It's on the Changjiang river. It can be very cold and humid here depending on the season. Not many expats living here. The ones I met were tourists or just plain rude. Most of my friends are Chinese. I am an American foreign language teacher. LARS are you still in Anhui Province? I have travelled to a few cities in Anhui and I think Ma-Anshan and Wuhu are the best.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
