Q: How do you get more fans of Weibo?

So I've had a weibo account for a few months now and have somehow failed to get a significant number of fans (despite posting really cute pics of me). Is there some kind of trick to getting/attracting more fans? It's so boring otherwise.

You must post something, what posters will fancy. I suggest, you post pic of your back (skin, only!). You might add variations to that 'project': 'OOOOh LOOK, there is a coin on the floorangel.......', or 'niau niau' thingy. You must make sure, pic is taken from your back.

I would get weibo account to see that!

You could post your profile link here, I cannot imagine that it would not spawn at least 5 new fans

I've often found that constantly liking and reblogging people's posts helps, the same as Tumblr.

It depends on what kind of followers you want to attract and on the type of content that you like to post.

If you only want to get more fans no matter what, chinese people love to see foreigners doing things related to their culture and adding a little bit of humor to it.. The guy speaking chinese with different accents, the other one making a soft parody of the communist songs, people dressing in traditional chinese clothes or make up... are good examples of how to become popular on weibo by doing things that most Chinese people can do, but they dont expect a foreigner doing.

You will see an increase in your chinese followers if you can surprise them showing that you can understand their culture and humor.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
