Q: how does answer of the day work?
I have no idea how answers are voted to this status . Some have more thumbs down than a silva post on a good day when it does not vote up it's own posts. Even harmonized threads still appear with a answer of the day. Anybody got any thoughts? also please visit my post Sex in China on a 30 day visa so far we have over 2200 views and sit on page 102

The Admin Pig uses the Magic 8-Ball to make all decisions.
It must be a completely random thing. I've gotten two times, and both times, I was just pounding out whatever I had pulled out of my behind.

Hey guys, whilst there's no specific criteria for answer of the day, a number of factors including votes, helpfulness, humor and thoughtful insights etc are considered. I try to mix things up on a daily basis so we have different types of "good" answers from various users selected.

They use the Magic Eight Ball. I recommend the M8B method of decision making as I use it myself. Wait, what? I'm in China?

I had suspected that it was just a computer-generated hit-or-miss thing.
we are now in. the 4th week of being exploited as answer of the day for Gods sake please hire somebody to change it.
