I went to see it about two months ago, i was disturbed that the crowd laughed though most of it???  maybe they think it is not to bad??

Who knows what was actually put into the translation (dubbing, subtitles, whatever).  Could be a whole different story being told....

It did? I'd be fascinated to see how the themes of the movie were interpreted through the Chinese world view!? Somewhat differently, I'd bet.

Not sure but it did break a record and the hunger games could thank china for allowing it to be shown in the cinemas here otherwise it would have never accomplished that feat. I'm gonna watch it this coming up week was supposed to watch it last week but didn't get around to it. I will have to check it out to see what exactly it is you are so concerned about.
