It'll be difficult to be honest and it depends on what kind of job you're looking for. If you're willing to teach English you can probably secure a position in a school while still in Europe and they may even sponsor your visa and plane ticket. I think you're going to have a very difficult time trying to find anything else. Nowadays, there are thousands of foreigners with basic or intermediate mandarin skills already in China looking for jobs and most employers require you to be in China already so you can attend an interview etc.

How about coming here as an au pair for 6-12 months?You could become even better at Chinese and look around 'on the ground' for a job
