Hi~ I want to know how I can find a Japanese language friend.
I am learning Japanese these days but have no chance to practice at all. I am a native Chinese and I can speak English well. My friend recommended me to come here. So... any idea?
Have you thought about getting a language friend? And how did you do it?
Thanks in advance.

Start with anyone of these Japanese penpal websites. You will need to create, be registered and then you can browse and choose.

These websites you recommended are just what I want. Thank you.
Or you could write to Matty , but that would be a intergalactic thing so the postage could get a little expensive
Like I tell everyone, if you want a language partner, place an ad on various dating websites or classified ad. Search QQ , WeChat or momo. If you want a friend, learn to see people as people.
I use this site to find language exchanges:
http://www.languageforexchange.com/
This one was actually the best source so far. I found 5-6 contacts through Language for Exchange, and after about a month or so the list was narrowed down to 3 people with whom I regularly talk.
Here is a link to a website: www.livemocha.com
where you can not only learn languages but also interact with your peers. In your case a Japanese man or woman might correct your written or spoken exercises and give you feedback. The basic course is free.
