Q: how is win10 working for those of us that are using it?

I have no big issues, but certainly some....  the big promotion of other Microsoft stuff  skype, outlook, edge   etc. etc.

I was really happy with win7, but now that that isn't much of an option anymore and I'm not hearing anything good about any windows operating system since 7, I think my next computer will be a mac.

I've had good results and bad results. Upgraded from Win8 to Win10, than couldn't get my VPN to work. So reverted back to Win8

Bought Surface Pro3 with Win10 and its been smooth and great.

Depends on the PC.

I don't really like the new brought back start button. Win8 was ok for me.

Win 10 has been ok on my laptop. But I only use that for photo editing, and the program I use for that works ok. The phone on the other hand... First update to win 10 bricked it. The USB stopped working so I could not charge it. Put it on the wireless charger for a day, and luckily it worked. Updated again. All was fine, but another update this week means I cant connect my phone to another device. Bluetooth is not working, usb data transfer has gone, and now my phone network signal keeps dropping out.

Always have had a PC and sometime ago tried Win10. Some things were really great, but frequently I had other problems. So, I switched back to Win7 and now also have problems with that in as much some websites cannot be opened because of my 'outdated browser'.

I contacted Microsoft and they acknowledged this problem and they 'are working on it',  suggesting I should upgrade to Win 10. Yikes!!!

Soon I will need a new laptop... it will be an Apple!

I put win10 on my laptop about 8 months ago. Hated it. Constant updates prevented me from working on my computer. And, I do not like the fact that I can not prevent the updates. Microsoft thinks they know better than their users. So, after being frustrated enough, and not being able to revert back to Win8.1 since I did not have my operating disks, I bought a new hard drive. It was due to be changed anyways after 4 years. Now I am back using Win 8.1 and I am a happy computer geek once again. Edge, cortana, and all the supposed improvements for Win 10 sucked big hairy toes in my opinion.

I appear to be in the minority here but I absolutely love Windows 10.  My laptop is positively ancient at six years old but Windows 10 gave it a new lease of life.  I hated Windows 8 and 8.1 with a passion and had been quite happy running 7 before nervously upgrading. Sure, Cortana is a pain in the arse and the privacy issues need addressing but they're really quite simple to fix.

I'll be getting a new laptop when I head back to Blighty in the summer and I'll definitely upgrade again if I have to.
