Q: Is it possible to get a work visa for Zhuhai/ other cities in Guangdong in HK?

If you're from the UK arriving in China for the first time from another country in Asia, can you get a work visa in HK or are you expected to return to the UK first? I'd heard that you have to return to your home country to get a visa in Guangdong due to the new rules. However I've just had a recruiter say that if they provide an invitation letter and I provide the criminal background check, medical etc I can definitely get a Z visa in HK. Is this a load of BS? Thanks

In China, with the right "guangxi", you can even rent another person to serve your jail term.  But I will be on  the look out for the possibility of a scam too.  Nowdays, normal procedure calls for a new Z visa to be issued only at country origen

country of origin is not the same as country that matches the passport, right ???

Our company (wall street) in Shenzhen still sends guys to do their Z visa in HK.. Shouldn't be a problem, unless there's a certain something we don't know about.. We can really only tell you that you have a 50%/50% chance man, it's really your risk to take..
