Q: Is it true that Nongfu water is worst than tap water?

I've been drinking Nongfu water every day since coming to China and now Im hearing reports about how the Nongfu bottled water is worst than tap water. Can this be true?! I can honestly smell an odor from the tap water here whereas I've never gotten a strange taste from Nongfu. Could this all just be a scare mongering trick of a rival water company?

Nongfu said the problem was caused by Yibao,a state company, which is nongfu 's main rival in the water market.Nongfu also presented a certificate of analysis on it's weibo the day before yesterday which showed its water was tested by the USA national testing laboratories in 2008 and its quality is higher than American FDA bottle water standard.

I drink mostly Nongfu and for sure is better than tapwater

Anyway, owner of nongfu company is the richiest man in china, and i think he is in the top 20 goverment leaqders, if I remember right ... so maybe it can be something ... political fight rather than true issue. but TIC, anything is possible

Don't know the details, but my husband said there' s a problem with NongFu water. He's into healthy products, so he knows which products are not healthy.
