Q: I've just eaten some 'Tasty' cheddar from Australia.

Just bought it this morning from Carrefor Qingdao.   Bloody marvelous, can anybody confirm that it's the genuine article?   (please note the implied criticism)

Hey buddy! If it tastes okay, why worry if it is "real" or not? Enjoy!!!

Cheddar can have a mild to sharp taste and be white or orange/yellow. It is very rich tasting. Try Canadian cheddar. I'd send you some but postage is too much.

Yup, it's real! I am sure of it. Carrefour only sells genuine cheddar from your favorite source. Buy some more.

mattsm84:

Yes, leave it to the French to provide a reliable source of cheese. I only wish the Carreforts in Shenyang still sold ricotta cheese.

post a photo of it in the forum page and I can tell you if it is from here (Aus) or not

the Kiwi's have a good Cheese called are you ready for this ?........ Mainland

some other Brands from Australia include Bega and Coon Cheese

yes that is what it is called so don't start with the KKK crap.surprise

lokethebloke:

I'll have to get some more now to confirm that it was mainland, I'm pretty sure that it WAS.   I must say that it was one of the best I've ever tasted and I think that I may have tasted about 50 or so over the years.
