Hi, Does anybody know, is that possible to leave China before your Z visa end date and contract ends ? For example visa valid till September 20th and contract somehow ends in October, employee is going to leave the country in August without notifying his employer. What may employer do against his employee in such the case ? Will Employee be banned from the country or will be rejected for any other Z visa in China in the future ?
I mean that the contract ends at October, and the visa is till September. So as long as the ending dates of contract and visa don't fit each other, does that mean that the contract has no power ?

It's difficult to say, what will happened, unless one had tried for yourself. I didn't.
BuTT....I'd say, you can expect some troubles, when new School will apply for new WP, if you'll just walk away.
SAFEA will certainly make remarks about that, and that will be visible on FEB's computers around China. I'd expect denial of new WP.
Contract has validity, despite Residence permit ends two months earlier.
I wrote at your earlier post: 'If you don't want to continue with work at the same School, give them Resignation notice before the end of RP. Then, PSB will give you 30-days RP extension or L visa, which you can use for traveling and exiting China. You'll return FEC to the School, and you'll probably get Release letter and FEC Cancel Cert. With this two docs. you won't have any problems to secure new WP.'

Can they refuse to provide me release with cacelatio cert ? Perhaps that happened, what can i do then ? Call SAFEA in such the case ? I've read somewhere that it's their obligation to provide those two documents to resigned employee, is that true ?

You won't get anything, if you break the Contract, i.e. 'walk away'. School must give you both docs., if you complete the Contract or if you resigned, because of the School's contract violations.
You can resign only if Co. doesn't respect/violate the Contract. When you resign, try to respect Resignation notice on the Contract, i.e. '30-days'.
First try to reason with them. Tell them an excuse ('I have a GF in another city' or similar).
If they insist you should finish the Contract, call SAFEA for an advice and meditation.

Do you have a Resident Permit?
Do you want to stay to the end of your contract?
Or do you want to leave before your contract ends?
Has your employer breached the contract in any way, or do you just want to leave because you are tired of them?
If you want to stay to complete your contract, your employer will extend your Work Visa to continue to the end of the contract: just talk to them about this difference and be clear that it is their responsibility to ensure you remain legal. (in writing/by email)
You need to be a bit more specific regarding your status and what you want.
