Q: is long term business trip supported by chinese labour law?

I have a query, please update.I have a work contract with a chinese company. Have work permit too.now my company wants to send me to other country to stay long time for company business work.the stay time could be somewhere from 2-3 years continuously. I want to know, 1. Is this staying will be supported by chinese labour law.2. If I stay out of china for such long time , next year/ next time work permit renewal will have any problem? 3. Will there be any problem to get my salary in a chinese bank card?besides my query if you have any suggestions for me from your expertise, would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Chinese labor law does not explicitly restrict long-term overseas assignments, but you should review the terms of your contract and ensure compliance with local labor laws in the country you are sent to. Regarding your work permit, extended time outside China could potentially affect renewal, so it's advisable to consult with your company and local authorities to ensure smooth processes for both the work permit and salary transfer to a Chinese bank account.

A: What are you going to do, if I tell you answer is: 'forever' or 'never
A:What are you going to do, if I tell you answer is: 'forever' or 'never'? Chinese recruiters don't have the same habits as the western recruiters have ... Never stop sending your CV to the job offers, not even when you have an invitation or two for an interview! Don't expect Chinese will send you "Thank you for your application. You weren't selected at this time ...!" notice, so keep sending yer CV to the newly posted job openings. Looking for a job in China was like a part-time job in my time in China ... Good luck! -- icnif77
