Q: Looking for laid back people in Jiaxing/Tongxiang city to hang out with, no drama llama bs...

Ahoy and Happy New Year 2013 to you all!

I'm moving to Tongxiang, Jiaxing (Zhejiang province) in February, just signed a two year contract with a company (woot woot!). So I would like to know if there's anyone, whatever your nationality is, is interested enough to sometimes hang out with me (I get lonely at times), I can cook kick ass curry (level 10 spiciness) and I'm relatively intelligent (gah). I'm leaving my comfort zone in far north China, leaving all my peers to start again from 0. Hope to hear from you! Smile

What do you like to do? Are you interested in a particular age group? Because most of the users that post here are over 40 years old some even 50! With the exception of myself and a few others. He he, I said: "exception"! (Drunk!

Hi!

Sorry for the late post!

To be honest I don't discriminate age, race, nationality, or gender!

Are you still in Jiaxing? or Tongxiang? I found out that Tongxiang is 30 minutes away from Jiaxing (sigh..). Though I love Jiaxing and often go for a visit on weekends.

Let me know if you are interested to hang out Smile (lunch/dinner/beer/rum?)

Cheerio!

Hi...I'm also moving to the area, Jiaxing, to be exact, next week. I will welcome some new friends, also looking for places to hang out. I read there is one Starbucks there, but don't know about bars or pubs. Hope we can chat and find a time and place to meet!

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
