Following on from dokkens question, and Hal195's excellent answer.
Where in China, are the scenes depicted on Chinese paper money?
I will start with 20rmb... Xingping, between Guillin and Yangshou. One of my favourite places.
100rmb is Great hall of the people in Beijing, opposite the Tian'anmen square. 50rmb is the Potala Palace in Tibet. 10rmb is kuimen, the" west gate" of The Three Gorges in Chongqing Province. 5rmb is Mount Tai in Shandong Province. 1rmb is Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, one of the scenic spots of West Lake, Hangzhou Province.

Thanks. I would like to visit them all, but I fear Lhasa is too high for me and my smoking habit
1 RMB's note is West Lake in Hangzhou. That's what I have off the top of my head....

What would your wife know? She's Cantonese and you only ever take here to Yangshuo!
