We should ask for 'sticky notes/replies', and automatic redirection, when one anon asks Q, which was replied already.

Yeah. Who is this anon bloke, anyway? And why does he continue to ask the same questions. Over and over again? Don't get it.

Pre-school? I have a solution. No classrooms. Just playgrounds with English-speaking monitors and PE teachers. Throw in a few English-speaking parents to oversee the situation.

Teach kids real games in English. Soccer, kickball, dodgeball, volleyball, tetherball, softball, baseball, football, ping-pong, footraces, jump-rope (great rhyming games), tag, "You're It!", and so on.

Why instill a life-long loathing of prescribed classroom language learning in kids at such a young age? They become robots after a while. Make it fun!

Yay for playground English!

Hmmm... think I'll patent the idea.

(After all, the Crazy English dude was on to something unconventional and he made a fortune...)

Red_Fox:

I'm on a roll: hoola hoops, twiddly winks, marbles, yo-yos, skipping stones, hopscotch... All instructions and language carried out in English.

Shit. I've just described my own childhood.

And that's just what the English doctor recommends for Chinese pre-schoolers: a childhood.

My favorite were 'games' using a slingshot (made out of a guava tree)....marbles and rubber bands on hand...

Hey skunkman: You're on to something. Teach a kid some new vocab that he/she can fuckin' relate to: slingshot, marbles, rubber bands, etc. You know where I'm coming from?

Like you said, kids are kids...humans...they ALSO need to relate to the 'outside' world...to things kids are supposed to relate to (or need to experience)...like dirt under their fingernails, sand in their eyes, grass and tree bark marks on their clothes , getting dunked in the lake, getting wet in the rain, getting bee stings and bike bruises, ad infinitum....they will certainly learn a lot more (in life) with your "playground" classes, rather than being turned  or 'manufactured' into robotic zombies!

Skunk - You got it down. The perfect pre-school teacher with a rich vocabulary that kids would pick up on in a day or two.

So, let's open a Playground School!  Whaddy reckon?

You better patent your "Playground English"...fast! I like the term...make sure there's plenty of dirt, sand, water, grass...and perhaps some insects!

Nice venture to go into...haha...lots of physical and mental activities can be incorporated here...I would start with the slingshots though...hehe...
