Yeah, saw it in an American owned pub. Apparently a (foreign) guy was talking to a girl who his girlfriend hated. The girlfriend showed up, saw them, picked up an empty beer bottle and walked over, demanding that they leave. He just sat there smoking his cig. Then she smashed the bottle on the table and pointed the shards at him and screamed that they leave. The dude didn't even flinch! He just sat there! Finally a bar-tenderette came over and pulled her away to go downstairs. It was pretty hilarious.

Saw two female fruit vendors go at it last week. That was entertaining from a distance. Yesterday, I was across the street as a guy made a running jump and kneed a woman in the chest sending her down 3 steps outside a supermarket. They had been arguing for a minute or so. The man was crying and I guess he had enough.

Yes, quite a few times.

But it's usually 90% yelling, 9% randomly throwing arms, 1% hair grabbing.

that sounds like a proper cat fight to me

Correction!

I not only had a GOOD China day, but also got to see an awsome catfight!

I was in line for Burger King for my weekly "allowance". It was crowded. Anyway, this girl with her tray tries to pass after picking up her order. So, i try to take a step or to back, but the person behind me just wont move. Then while i am turning around to ask the person, a girl , if she could step back she suddenly SHOVES me hard!

Well, I flew right into the girl with the tray! Burgers fries and a salad rain on me. And bottles of unopened water. No cola thank goodness! Then, just as I am about to get up, this tall Chinese guy grabs me by my jacket and effortlessly lifts me up to my feet (I am only 168 cm tall). Then, instead of pounding me to the ground or sending me to meet my maker, he starts to brush the pices of  lunch from me the whole time apologizing in Chinese. But what was surreal was that behind him, while he is being nice to me the Lunch Girl and the Shoving Girl are really fighting it out! .  Yes, there was hair pulling, but no scratching. Lots of punches and quite a few slaps and kicks!  And yelling.  Eventually, when Tall Guy was satisfied that I was okay, he went to Shoving Girl. Grabbed her and turned around, shielding her with his body while Lunch Girl tried to continue hitting her. Eventually another guy came and collected Lunch Girl and soon all four left.

Ten minutes later, while i am munching on my double whopper (not spicy) the mall security shows up. Some things ARE just like the West....

I had seen two women arguing at one another at one of those teaching institutions. Not sure what was going on but there was back and forth war of words going on. Not sure what happened next I was too busy paying attention to me myself and I. I haven't seen many cat fights but I did see a dog fight between an older gentlemen and a younger lad duking it out at the subway station.

I got to witness one up close and personal. It was fucking embarrassing for me (though I wasn't involved, just happened to know the girls involved), and was completely ridiculous.

I was with a few friends and my girlfriend at a club in 三里屯 called 开 if I remember correctly (蜗牛 is cheap there). My friend was with his girlfriend and had also invited 2 girls from his work to come with us. One of the girls was a bit shy, but got drunk and started to be quite flirty with me and the other guy. I was sitting further away from her so she didn't do anything bad enough to summon my girlfriend's wrath, but she ended up kissing the other guy on the cheek with his girlfriend looking. His girlfriend got pissed because he didn't do or say anything about it so she said fuck you, I'm leaving.

We ended up on the dance floor after she left when suddenly, out of fucking no where, my friend's girlfriend sprints in through the door and literally TACKLES the other girl from behind. I mean, caught her completely off guard and knocked her ass down HARD. She then proceeded to slap her and pull her hair. So, we commence to separating them. My girlfriend pulled the girl off and took her to the other side of the club to calm her down. I helped the tacklee up and she said, and I kid you not, "谁打我了?" (Who hit me?) Had I not been so embarrassed at my friend's actions I would have laughed my ass off.

Generally I find it pretty uncivilized to settle shit like that by making a huge scene in public. It's embarrassing. Plus, we were having a good time until that happened. I wanted just one more 蜗牛... but we had to go home. wink

I saw one on the bus.

We passed by what it looks to be a car accident on a heavy rainy day. I saw two people arguing then some pushing. It seemed pretty heated because one side had the numbers. I only had 10 seconds of the action.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
