Q: Seriously, what's up with Chinese guys?
Before anybody takes offense, that's not my intention, merely a repeated observation...
Why do Chinese guys just come up to girls, ask them all these personal questions, ask for their number after 5 minutes of knowing them, and then ring them constantly for several days after and even end up 'appearing' at their place of work or near where they live from following them.
This has happened to me several times now and the stories are even more bizarre from other foreign friends here..
I seriously give them some credit for having the balls to do this, but surely they know that is not the way to get a girl, or anybody for that matter. I mean seriously, one guy said to me the other day as I was walking home from the gym "Are you sure you've just been to the gym..you smell so good'..that is the creepiest damn thing I've ever heard, this was as he was following me home, never seen the guy before in my life.
I can't help but miss the smoother approach of Western guys, the chase, the not knowing if they like you or not. This up front borderline stalking just doesn't cut it for me. Any thoughts on this?

This is easier than to put effort into anything. Back when I was young, me and some friends worked with a theory that if you go to a bar, ask 100 girls if they want to have sex, one will say yes. It takes less time to do this than to do it the proper way. We never actually did, but I think the though came from someone actually doing this.
The Chinese boys do not have the social skills to actually go through the courting process westerners are used to. If they do their approach with enough girls, eventually someone will text them back.
When you are used to having mommy around to wipe your ass until you are 25 years old, you will never actually grow up

I actually did this at the Christmas party when I was a motorcycle courier. It did not work. Ended up being hustled out by my brother who I later discovered had just knocked out one of these poor girls boyfriends in my defense.

I had to pose as the boyfriend of a colleague here who was getting creeped out by a trainer from the gym downstairs from us. He would follow her home (she live just down the street) and even stayed outside of her place in the morning just to 'bump into her' and ask her if she would like to go for breakfast. Properly creepy.
I will agree with Scando that it is the sheer lack of maturity and social skills that breeds this kind of behaviour. Chinese girls, however, don't help the situation. What with their emotional immaturity and 'sajiao' behaviour, I am not really surprised that Chinese guys don't know how to handle Western girls without freaking them out.
It's the same reason I don't have any Chinese friends. (I know this will work some of you into a fury). Even though I can communicate with them, I have only found one or two in my whole time here that I would want to hang out with. Stunted mentality, bad manners, totally different views on the most basic of things and what I consider to be terrible behaviour towards other people just puts me off. Hence my (very) small circle of friends.
And I say all this with the full knowledge that my wife is Chinese.

Women can do it also. I've climbed a chain link fence in a suit just to go out for lunch. My take is they think they like you, so you must like them. I like messing with them.

It is a combination of things. First chinese guys don't respect women. They especially do not respect foreign women. They regard them as whores , which is why they only use foreign women on the condom boxes. Then there is the fact that they are spoiled useless tool drones. Then lastly people in this country are socially retarded.
