Chinese people are not famous for being hairy but they make the most with the little they have.
Women:
Ever seen a Chinese woman raise her hand? If the answer is yes you may just have caught a glimpse of her fly trap, that big bush growing under her arm. I have a horrid fascination, what do other expats think?
From the Shaolin monk, kung fu master in the mountain to the 16 year old boys. We have all seen the two hair goatie does it deserve a slap or is it manly or machote?
Hairy armpits is the worst turn off for me it doesn't matter how pretty or sexy a girl looks until i see the hairy armpits.
The three long hairs on a guy's chin made me want to giggle like a little girl and a woman's hair pits used to bother me. But I got over that after seeing the length of the hairs sticking out of some of their noses.
It's hard to have a face to face conversation when the guy could braid his booger catcher.
Shaving has only been going on for about 100 years in our culture,, why do you think skirts used to be so long? And lowai women can be alot hairier. I've seen North American women that don't shave the pits. They are are pads. But the Chinese girls I've seen had such little cute patches. I found Chinese women to be just plain cute. I'd like to see more wear makeup. They don't know perfume or wear any. I read this and brought some for presents.

i got a disagree i love women without makeup , i dont care for hairy pits either because sexy is still sexy. and the greatest pleasure can still be had
I guess it's all a matter of taste and hair in the mouth is not a good taste! Fashion of late tends to indicate that shaving under the arms and the nether regions is the go. Having said that guys tend to adopt the unshaven look on the face - that manly looking 5 o'clock shadow is supposed to be trendy which may be so if the whiskers don't appear grey!
Hair retains sweat, body sweat usually has an odour so I think women should shave and wear perfume, far sexier looking and smelling too. I'm thinking of opening a shop that specialises in Brazilians!
It really doe not matter to me. I care about her look, intelligence and chest
Well, it is a well known fact that many Chinese Ladies do not shave at all every day. But many do shave once in a while, especially if going to beach or a drssy function. My girlfriend does shave legs and armpits maybe once per week (savings or "no need"). But to my suggestion that she should shave her "bush" for "certain occasions" she replied with an emphatic "NO, IT IS AGAINST NATURE" !
I am a very hairy man, chest, back, legs, etc are full of hair. On street many thry bto touch my arms to see if real hair, some even try to pull it out. When I arrived in China in 2009, I had a full grown beard, well trimmed, that I had for at least 30 years, mostly because I love to sail. Well, I was told many times by many persons, both male and female, that facial hair was not well seen here in China, so eventually one day I shaved it off, about one year ago. Since then , I do not seem to attarct so much attention from paserbyes.
Hairy armpits on girls is a turnoff, but I accept it's here.
However, if I was dating a girl like this, we would definitely have to compromise.
When I grow my beard here, I'm treated like a rock star (although I never hear the end of it from my other half....it itches....)
When the gf grows all wild it just annoys me. It takes alot of explaining at first as to why people should shave, but with the help of some red wine and a beard trimmer, nothing is impossible.
Chinese men trying to pass off a wimpy soul patch (maybe 10 hairs) like I had when is was 14 is just pathetic....and laugh worthy.
But can you blame them for trying? It's quite funny.
No matter how long I live in China, I will still shave my armpits. Maybe Asian women don't have to worry about it because they don't sweat as much. I think shaving armpits is mostly about the smell, so if the woman doesn't smell, why would she bother?
crimochina:
there have been reports that shaving armpits along with using anti-perspirant can increase risks on breast cancer. even if the reports are trusted or not i would let it grow and stick with plain deodorant
I once watched a chinese couple making out vid. the girl's armpit wasn't shaved but i got turned on lol...
ok, i would sometimes ask my wife to shave, at least trim... for hygiene, so as not to be smelly esp during summer
I'm a hairy guy, just took note of my pits, Ok Chinese girl has more pit hair than I do. i still don't care. Legs would be another issue.
