Several people, on this site and many others are busily commenting on unproven allegations of drug use at the Olympics. It is a proven fact that many cheats in the past have used drugs and the laws of probability imply that some drug cheats have gotten away with it. Added to that the cheats are always going to be ahead of the testers as you cannot test for a substance until you know it exists and that it enhances performances.
Therefore would it level the playing field to instigate a competition where 'chemical assistance' is permitted for the athletes? Would you support this? What about the image to the amateurs or the children watching?

I am surprised how a North Korean weightlifter won gold given the famine in the country something tells me this is not right.

A NORTH KOREAN WON GOLD FOR WEIGHTLIFING???? Oh my, me smells something funny about...
I think it's a brilliant idea, but rather than simply allow performance enhancing drugs, you could actually have drug events, like crack and field or the bong jump. People could see who can pole-vault the highest..................
Hell no! I agree with pogger and the facts that he cited.
