Why waste money on a hospital when it can be used to buy a decent bottle of baijiu? Governments must work to priorities. Popularity does not run a nation, ganbei's do!

relax guys .... I suspect all the money is in research and development of the Chinese Dream ...... won't be long and all will be well ....  the first thing will be health and well being for the populace......    ... then moon travel ...... then saturn travel, skipping Mars ,,,,,,  then some thought on dairy products, (minimal) because it is useless ......  if the girls tits don't produce, well how in the hell is the country to help her? ..... and she should be working anyways, instead of breast feeding ....so there........

I would like to give you some hints and maybe you'd like to check them out yourself.

I always have a strong feeling mixed with anger, fear, desperation when I talk about China's problems. It's a big reason  why I am not that active here as I used to be.

You mentioned exports and lower class. I don't know enough about economy and trades. But I think the lower classes labors are exploited to hell. It also has something to do with the industry chain. Chinese factories are usually at the end of the chain which could make them only get less than 2% profits of the product (the Apple products as example)

I would say the most important reason is corruption:

Now here are some hints:

1) Check the total wealth amount of China's congressmen

2) Check how much the former deputy chief of National Development and Reform Commission has corrupted.  Keep in mind he had been in charge of China's economy reform and development. Everyone who bribed him must have gained a lot more than the bribe itself. Nobody would do non-profit but risky thing. 

3) Think about the consequence of such corruption.  The corrupted money should have been invested in education, medicare, scientific research, poverty rescue. But now the corrupted money is in the foreign banks,or used to buy Ferraris and LV bags, and wasted on other useless luxuries and real estates in foreign countries. 

4) 87% of Chinese elites in science and engineer fields chose to stay in foreign countries. Their intelligence should have been used to solve China's problems and help China develop better. But some reasons make them choose to stay in North America/Europe/Oceania. 

Oh I don't want a mental problem. Ignorance is a bliss. 

I think eventually Chinas wages will go up. It has to start trickling  down some time. I was actually shocked to see how a C country actually works.  What happened to the ideology?

got it all right guy ...... oh China ..... rich get richer ...blah blah blah   ....  but the people will fight back and then we got chaos (mid east) .......... I believe that the best progress in the whole flipping world, as slow as it may be, is being made in China ..... ....    slow down the corruption, working on it........good.......long drawn out story ...
