Q: So WHO are these 1 post wonders?

There are some great people on this forum, with pretty nice thoughts and answers...

From past few days I noticed there are many ID's which crop up to answer or ask 1 question and then disappear.

I am just curious, Why do you think that is?

I usually visit the site when I'm killing time at work, just long enough for a chuckle, with Excel at the ready in case the boss walks by.

WOOO! Second post!

Congrats! two posts is a whole RMB for you.

I rarely have anything to say, and I can't be bothered to log into the site. I only comment if I am bored and a real question as not already received a real answer.

Got it!! though it'll be fun to know point of view of many people on issues posted here...

You don't get odd first time posters who then don't reply. A bit like this one from the other day..

http://answers.echinacities.com/question/renew-visa-question?type=alates...

Why would anyone want to renew a 6 month visa 2 months early?

Karma101:

No why...

I don't know about any of these accounts right now.

But a few times before we'd get a scammer on here that was probably the same guy.

He'd make a bunch of accounts, have them ask a couple questions about getting ripped off or visa issues. Then ask a question to say some rando business rips people off. Then the other accounts all agree.

Or it could be people needing an answer to one question.

Karma101:

Haha that sounds twisted... though I don't think you are allowed to create more ID's now, I tried to make another ID, to you know! try to agree and disagree with myself... but couldn't, I guess the ID gets registered with the IP now...

Not surprisingly, most of the 'one post wonder' questions are visa/employment related.

As i have mentioned before, i suspect that there is an element of 'cat-fishing' involved as none of these posters respond when challenged to provide more information to clarify their questions.

This leads me to suspect that these are none other than '50-centers' just periodically trolling to see if anyone supports illegal behaviour.

As Expatlife26 notes, we are about due for another onslaught from the CTFU again, this time in a different guise.

I usually check the post history of a poster these days.

Who cares?

If people have questions, why not answer them?

Karma101:

I agree, But like Sorrel said the problem is, “these posters do not respond when challenged to provide more information to clarify their questions”. so...

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
