Well, places like Jin Ding Xuan and Golden Lake serves more than decent Cantonese food I think.

I don't know the situation in Beijing. But in Guangdong, it's not safe to eat food cooked by others. Most peple add toxican substances in the food to make it look better. They don't care how the food affects others' health.

Even inviting a Canton cook to make meal for you is dangerious - most of them don't know what can eat and what cannot.

The surest safe way to eat Cantonese cuisine is - cooking by yourself!

A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
