Q: UK people and new visa laws
Simple question. I post anon because I don't want anyone grassing me up to anyone for doing nothing wrong now.
Can I still get a Z visa, even though there is a Caution which I got ten years ago showing on my enhanced CRB check?

if it is for something that would stop you teaching in the uk then no but if you can teach in the uk with the criminal offence then it could be ok
A caution is considered a caution, if was drug related, smoking pot, then yes, unfortunately, but if you are British then a caution can be erased from your record if it was 10 years ago, or you where considered a minor at the time.
Oh, for the record, I had a criminal record coming in, nothing serious, no DUIs or Drug Charges just traffic infractions, on the first page it says please check amending pages of 1, I removed that page and also checked the box that says no record, they never even reviewed, just went into a file.
