Q: Used to going to class/work on weekends?

perhaps the most annoying day of any foreigner here in China is the fact that classes/ works have to be skipped to weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), after receiving some "holidays" , even during Xmas and new year, one have to attend classes on 12/24 and 12/31

so annoying, what do you think about this??

It's a different country you have to abide by their rules and laws. It really doesn't matter to me I'm used to it!

This is China. The schedule rearrangements are intended to give those who work five or six days a week a long vacation. It's not about you, or me, or foreign teachers. Really it's a minor inconvenience and it will be over soon.

It's retarded, and many employers manipulate it to get unpaid work from their workers. I usually get away with being a "stupid foreigner" by insisting that my contract says "no weekend or night work," and then enforcing that.
