When and if I visit someone at their home the scene is often chaos. Either organized or seems unorganized.
Most of the chaos revolves around the child and the variety of discipline means the child is under. Everyone
in the host family is always busy doing something and I'm left to fend for myself.

Being able to fend for yourself is an essential skill in China.
Children don't have boundaries, thus are allowed to do what they want.
Chinese architects suck. Storage is a greatly missed. Apartments don't have anyplace to put the bucket for cleaning the floor, thus it is somewhere random, or clogging up the extra bathroom.
Chaos in China is I swear a National pass time . everything is either half done or done to death , and then there is feeding time at the Zoo to talk about
