Q: What is the best cheap product you have bought in China?

There is so many bad plastic products in China. But here and there some things are very good.

My own personal favorite is

a set of USB powered speakers - 20 RMB - it's not hifi, but they provide me music when sitting at the desk and have done so for more than a year now

I bought one of those fan stands for my laptop for 30-40 RMB and have had no problems with it. Especially during the summer time, it's essential.

Traveler:

Actually, I bought a great one in China, but I can't find one as good in Australia. And much more expensive in OZ.

I was looking for an electric grill plate to do hamburgers, pancakes, fry eggs, etc.  At home, a 220 volts one sold for between around $ 150 USd, and I found one here in Taobao for 98 yuan, including shipping.  I am quite happy with it.

A nice big, portable oven for the kitchen (not the huge ones) Smile for 229 kuai on Taobao. It is perfect for baking muffins, chicken drumsticks and keeping food warm.

Miscellaneous travel adapters from 12 to 50 RMB

Awesome, rich-looking, super gangster coat for 155 RMB, when the equivalent was 1489 or so in the mall.

Asimom Bluetooth speaker, 189RMB on TaoBao.

In the Apple store it's 700RMB. If you like music, I urge you to get one of these. Best speaker for my Ipod I have ever seen or had.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
