What do girls here do as a hobby? It seems that all my gf wants to do in the evenings is watch those lame dramas. I cant really understand them, but Im sure as I rarely watch TV in my home country, I would also despise these programs too.
Any suggestions on what your friends or girlfirends do as hobbies?

Well, besides watching those same TV soup operas which I also despise, her favorite past time is to go up either shopping or to eat. She always "crave" for some special food she wishes to have, or always seem to need something else to buy. Even if window shopping, training or not, cold or warm, she does love to go out.
When we moved to our new place we didn't bother to get the "cable hooked up". My wife is more than content with her beloved iPad 2. She sleeps with it and carries it with her everywhere. At this rate we'll never have a baby.
shopping(even just window shopping)/ reading books about making up,dressing up,cooking ...of course some books of my major/watching movies/communicate with friends and learn something from them/shooting pictures(i would use camara to describe my life) /do some exercise(walking fast along the pearl river as i live near)/ cook some nice dishes for friends... ...these are the things i usually do...
Shopping, shopping, go on QQ, get their hair washed, shopping, QQ...and
shopping..
girl told me "shopping, eating, sleeping and cute boys."
They teach boys how to fight.

Sorry. I've been in China long enough to deny all responsibility for anything :-)
I'm a chinese girl who has a foreign bf.I like watch the same series and listen to the same music over and over again in the evening. Then shopping, then eating, then sleeping.I make my bf cook for me.Besides these,I like to "play" my boy, keep talking to him and disturbing him, make a lot of trouble.I think its fun.I drive him mad
Cross stitch, shopping, eating, sleeping, QQ, WeChat, mahjong, watching crappy TV dramas.
seems like chinese girls are very boring
shopping shopping shopping
QQ, WeChat, Qzone, TV dramas, bitching at you constantly, complaining constantly, killing babies since they had no idea what birth control was or they "have disease (我的意思是,她们有病 - yes, they HAVE BING in the HEAD)," going psycho, making your life a living hell, constantly reminding you of the fact that you're not perfect, making you wish you were dead, playing mind games, watching your every move, complain that you talk to female acquaintances, being mad at you all day because you had sex with a different woman in her dream... oh, and mahjong.
I'm not bitter.
Scandinavian:
at least you're straight in her dreams, I mean, think about how much "loud one directional talking" there'd be had you been sodomizing a Donkey.
Hulk:
Yeah, that would likely be much worse, Scan. Did your wife have that dream? I have to go projectile vomit right now, see you later.
Yeah, mike... life is awesome. I am enjoying every minute of it...
Scandinavian:
@Hulk. No she didn't have that dream. I don't think she has much doubts about my preferences.
Now where is my blowup sheep.
Nessquick:
the "constant reminder of you're not perfect" I thought it is only to me happening.
Glad to be not alone. All others is also same here.
dom87:
dont you give stupid comments back to your wife?
I mean like: you didn't shave today. Well you neither!
i just love to do that after a while shes to annoyed to try it again for some time
Hulk:
I just tell her she's shenjingbing, she "has bing" "you have bing," etc. And we laugh it off... then she slaps me and I cry in a corner.
I really don't see many people here with hobbies. The only things I have seen the ladies doing is cross-stitch pictures or mahjong. Outside of that TV, shopping etcetera are just ways to fill up a boring life. I did see one guy once with a real radio controlled aircraft, I don't mean these helicopters you buy but something more like the real hobbyists have back home.
