Q: What do we do with our free time?

Since I joined the Q+A I've been a little negative towards China.
This question, however, is the opposite.
I have more free time than I have ever had in my life, here in China.
I work less than 8 hours a week and have plenty of time to pursue other diversions which is a luxury and an improvement of lifestyle compared to the one I had in the west.

I enjoy riding my motorbike around the countryside (less 'Chinese' traffic).
I rented a room in a Buddhist monastery on top of a very famous Chinese mountain. The views are breathtaking!
I just started learning Taekwondo 1 on 1 with a Chinese master. That will sound cool when I tell people back home!
I bought a Spanish guitar (very expensive) and I'm learning finer music than I used to play before.
I spend lots of time on the Internet, playing chess, reading, etc.

I'm trying to beat the Laowei DVD habit.

Any vacancies at that place where you work only 8 hours a week? Or is the salary commensurate with the hours - like you get paid maybe 800RMB a week?
Oh and is there room for another in that place you rented? Thanks heaps.

Laughing out loud

@Daquing: I get paid more than enough to enjoy my free time to the full. I'm never alone Wink

@jahanzeeb: If you read the question you will see I already have lots of things to do in my free time. Suggestions are welcome but unnecessary. I was asking what everyone else did with their free time.

A:Your potential employer is right! Purpose of the Medical exam before granting Z visa is to make sure, you won't be entering China in any abnormal and harmful to others condition.Few days after your arrival to China, you'll be required to complete another ME ... If ME in China will be OK, you'll get a Residence permit stamp into your book some 10-days afterwards. Imagine, you're an employer, who can sponsor my entry and work in China, but after my arrival to China would be found I carry some sickness, which would prevent Chinese .gov to issue a Residence permit. Rule is: Z visa should be converted into Residence permit in 30-days after entry to China.    So, my advice is:"Complete ME in your home country and forward medical results to your employer".Z visa grant will follow shortly afterwards. Employer is not wrong at their demand for the pre-arrival ME from your home country hospital.   -- icnif77
