There are no western products where I live in China, so I have a small list of things I want to buy when I go to HK, but am looking for some other ideas.
What are your suggestions?
.
My wife and I took a trip out to Sai Kung town and then a ferry out to an island. There were no other people there. It was very peaceful and quiet. Best purchase we made!
well..i buy some Marlboro ice ball cigarettes...........i like those .................a bottle of real french wine.....some foreign chocolate and snacks............some Coke.....a real steak..............that's it
..........That's when i go for a trip not a visa run.and i guess when you do the HK visa run..you don't have a working visa...That's illegal ..mate
I know this place in TST that serves a giant slice of pizza for about 40hkd. Gotta have several every time in town. Shrimp dumpling soup ( har gow ). Breeze through the Apple store in Central and covet the iPad 3. lol
But never been on visa run.
Eat lots of Mcdonalds, Subway, Pizza Hut and drink Starbucks to get your next years fix. Buy proper beer from 7/11 that you miss from back home eat sandwiches from there. Stock up on Chocolate, spirits buy electrical items that are hard to find, clothes from the market that are in a normal size not to small. Go to the cinema and watch a movie in English, go ice skating, or take a trip to Macu and do the worlds tallest bungee jump or anything that you can never find where you live. Even go to a book shop and pick out a decent learn Chinese book - found huge selection in Beijing- Im doing this all now as holiday in Beijing and making the most of it
I love to take my girlfriend to The Spaghetti House in Hong Kong. It's a popular restaurant in Hong Kong and they have some very nice spaghetti there as well as a nice atmosphere for dinner. It might be a bit pricy for some people that are accustomed to mainland china prices, as you can easily spend around $250 HKD on a meal for two.
Toiletries and electronics...and sometimes Filipino maids.
I'm sorry I didn't buy a new iPhone, HK is supposed to be the cheapest place to buy one. I did go shoe shopping and never found my size there, 12.
