Q: What Does Your Chinese Partner Bring to the Relationship?
Okay: I've seen a lot of posts with the positives and negatives of multicultural relationships/marriages.
I'm interested in what, exactly, does your Chinese partner bring to the relationship? The whole bride fee thing is supposed to be because you're taking the daughter away from her family and adding her (like a possession) to your family. The partner is supposed to add "face" to your family. Does he/she?

I can't talk for others, but my Chinese wife adds a great deal to the relationship. She is my partner and best friend. She has a job, helps raise the kids, puts up with me, evaluates my business ideas (and I evaluate hers), we are each others release from outside pressures and she still loves me even though she has seen me naked.
