free food.

actually, free anything

ScotsAlan:

Yup. I know people who spend 2 RMB each way to take a bus to a specific bank, just to avoid paying a 5RMB fee for making a withdrawal from a branch of a different bank on their doorstep.

yeah just free anything, whether they need it or not. I think a lot of that is that they want to resell it.

My folks always told me that free stuff should be reserved for the people that need it most. Like if there's a free razor giveaway, save those for the people who struggle to afford razors...not you so you can buy something extra.

In addition to.other suggestions, I'd have to add any kind of.argument.or disruption to.the list. China.is.boring, let's face.it. There's nothing.to.do.and.if.there is then.it.is.overpriced and.subpar and.overcrowded. When an.argument.or fight.breaks out, everybody stops what they are doing and goes to 围观 ie surround the scene in a circle, annoyingly watching it.unfold. So, yeah, Chinese.people.love any kind of disruption.

I yesterday drove according to the rules and regulations, as a guy with strangely colored hair didn't do so, he got pretty excited. I rolled down my tints and heard him out, when I told him "I have right of way" he said "Fuck You" (sorry about the language but for accurate description of events the F word is needed)

Actually he was so exited that he boxed me in at the following bus stop and I think he was discussing with his equally gay looking friends if they should get out of the car.

Who drives a shit brown Caddy, seriously ?

But the cowards didn't get out. 4-to-1 odds are still not enough to overpower a foreigner! Be careful out there, kids: Don't get cornered by zombies. You can handle 5, but 20 will try to eat your brains.

One square metre in which they can deposit their best hark hark hark effort.   You know the sound.....and it makes you sick...yep.   But for Chinese people it's cool.  Golly up the best you can and deposit it right there on the ground in front of everybody.  Doesn't matter because no one cares.  The best place is where everybody has to walk, for example a gate, or a narrow entrance to another pathway.  Sometimes it's an elevator.   I'm sure that the filthy grubs who do this are excited to be free of any rational thought processes.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
