Today I was riding the Shanghai metro, when all of a sudden, I heard screaming through my headphones. At first I didn't react because I'm so used to little children screaming on line 1. Out of no where a man is coming my way, and he is holding on me. So I push him away, and he just keeps screaming as people move out the way. He falls towards a seat and starts to have a seizure, should I of laid him down on to something soft, or just leave him alone for the fear of being sued? (p.s. I'm not a doctor, I heard your suppose to do that when someone is going through a seizure)

You should have taken pictures and a short movie for putting it on Youku and on Weibo.
Don't know man, but I often think I should get first aid training so that if I am in your situation I can do something.
DRABC.
Danger (to you others or him)
Response (check if they will respond.)
Airway
Breathing
Circulation
If the person is having a seizure or fit they will be breathing but convulsing. Just remove them from danger and lay them on their side (safety side position) and they shoujld then get medical attention.
And yes I would almost always help.
My heart and all my years of civilized existence tell me to help. However, with recent events here, my bank account tells me to turn and run for the hills.
Honestly, I don't know.
you dont need to try to help him tell a local to call the ambulance that's all it takes, if you know chinese call yourself. get the attention of one of the attendents on the train station (metro station for you damn brits;) i think people got the messed up idea that we all have to be like that ecudorian woman that jumped in the lake to save that idiot who fell in. you dont have to be superman just human
If you have no medical experience, then the best thing for you to do is to stay out of it. A seizure is the kind of medical emergency that needs parmedics not heroes. You can maybe try and clear some space for the guy to breathe or something.. But the best thing is to stay ot of it lest the guy blames you for his seizure. So I guess you did the right thing.
