Q: What will be your first meal when you get back home ?
well it is time for me to leave China again (7th time)
and head back to the real world or what I am used to.
Its funny to think that the only time i drink is when im in China
except for the first trip when i wished i was drinking
things would be different if i had a purpose here and then maybe i would enjoy my time in.China instead of
feeling like im doing pennants
the first thing i do on Sunday morning when I get home is cook stake and eggs
some of the meals in China are fantastic and some a little .....ahh....well not as plesant
thanks for helping me pass the time
and I look forward to reading your posts from the safety of my home in Australia
In 20 days from now I'll be having a pie at Raymond Terrace in Newcastle on my way up to Foster. Probably a curry pie. Even the very thought of it has me reaching for the olive oil.

The place I'll go to isn't Freddo's...can't remember the name of it but the pies are real good.
I know another Freddo's joint further up the highway. I think it's north of Kempsey...Fredrickton. Not sure. They've got a statue of Marilyn Monroe out the front.
The first meal will be from Juanita's Taco Shop in Encinitas; a hefty bean and cheese burrito with roasted serrano peppers and Pico de Gallo on the side. I'll get it "To Go", kick back and enjoy it with about 4 ounces of Stone's "Arrogant Bastard" ale.
The second meal will be a cheeseburger made on the backyard Weber grill. It'll have all the trimmings of fresh vine-ripened tomatoes, lettuce, red onion slices, Mayo & mustard, thick wedges of sharp cheddar melted on top and a bun toasted on the Weber with the grill marks displayed. Accompaniment? About 4 ounces of Arrogant Bastard ale. I'm a wine lover but burritos and burgers are better when enjoyed with an ale. This one is as potent as it gets and 3 ounces is more effective than a chill-pill.
My most anticipated meal is the turkey with stuffing and homemade cranberry sauce (cranberries, red wine and walnuts). The accompanying yeast dinner rolls will be made by using the balance of the Arrogant Bastard ale.
Did someone say, "Life is good"? Oh yeah!

British Indian curry. Chasni Lamb curry, nan bread poppadoms. Then to the italian cafe for desert and coffee.
Chinese food is the bestestest food in the galaxy. I see no reason to eat different food. My next meal will be Chickens feet deep fried in guter oil. Followed by a nice warm beer.

For food, I'm going down to Chipotle's.

I don;t know yet but I only have to wait two more days to find out.
