Q: What's the average start-up salary for expat jobs in Beijing/Shanghai nowadays?

People told me that 10,000 was the norm a few years ago, but with inflation and everything, has this figure gone up a lot in the last few years?

there are too many expats in China now. The salary is getting lower and lower.

brisguy:

Actually less expats are coming over with companies. But people without jobs are coming in the droves.
