can u read Chinese or have a friend who can? Then use www.12306.cn - it's the official govt website for reserving tickets.

Otherwise you can use an agent but of course they will charge you an extra booking fee. Try to use one based in China if you do. Getting charged in foreign currency i.e. American dollars usually means getting charged a lot more.

Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think.
