I absolutely love it! Have you been to Walmart or any similar market where you find drink products that give free stuff? I've received bags, silverware, cups and mouse pads. I'm wondering why they do it so often in China and not back in the States. When I sold cutlery we use to give away free products to make the sale. Is that why they do it so often in China to make the sale or is it something else?
I love this too! I've got nothing to say except that it's done for the same reasons as anywhere else: people like getting free stuff and rewards for buying mundane household items.
I bought a Pepsi/Orange juice combo pack this morning and got a shiny new dustpan. Now thats how to add value to your beverage needs!
Up here, to push dairy products, they attach lovely dinner table quality bowls, plates, tea cups, etc., etc. Buy four bottles of yoghurt and one can put together a very nice table setting for one. Buy 16 over a period of time and one can acquire a service for 4.
Good post, Mattaya, and interesting in a very daily life kind of way!
They give you a free item so you will buy more of their products.
