Q: Where is the best place to meet english speaking people in Wuhan?

I have been in Wuhan for  couple of weeks and I find t hard to locate english speaking people I would like to sit down and share some of my observations. I am an African American and I am opened minded to different thoughts, feelings, and emotions of others. Skin color is big factor whenever it comes to jobs, renting, and relationships.  I am interested to find out what other people think.

Welcome to Wuhan, I have been in Wuhan since 2009 and there are few places where you can meet english speakers mostly night clubs but people overthere are just in their own rhythm , then in and around university places like there is shopping street like CHUHE HANJIE ,there are some starbucks outlet located here which is frequented by foreigners .If you would like to know more then you can P.M. on this website itself .Hope you will have a good stay in Wuhan.GOD BLESS!!!!

A: Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever
A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
