You can get a whole range of imported ground coffee at Beijing's import stores but I personally buy mine in Ikea because it's a lot cheaper there and they even have an organic one for something like 16 yuan. Starbucks also sells ground coffee but it's way too expensive in my opinion (something like 100 yuan a bag).
If you want your coffee freshly ground i can warmly recommend to go to the Sanyuanli market. It is on Shunyuan jie not so far from Liangmaqiao. Here there are loads of small shops selling all kinds of goods, both fresh fish, meat and vegetables as well as a surprisingly great selection of foreign foods.
The price for a bag of 250 gr. coffee here is around 18 kuai, so the price is definitely very reasonable.
To go there from sanlitun or guomao take subway line 10 and get off at liangmaqiao. From sanlitun the easiest way is to take bus line 403 from the crossing between Gongti beilu and Xindong Lu and then get off at Huadu Fandian.
Hope this is useful!
For the broadest selection there is no store like METRO.
