Q: Why are Americans denied access to the answers as to why Americans come to China?

When I try to log into to this and only this question, I receive a notice saying I am denied access. I am from the U.S. Are U.S. citizens being excluded from this discussion? If so, why?

the question has been deleted because in fell outside the guide lines or was just in bad taste                     just because you are a yank does not mean everybody is out to get you         on the other hand it might be that......           well I will let you speculate on thatsurprise

Tell the truth Phil. Everybody's out to get the Yanks. enlightened

Maybe this question will be also deleted, because it is about a question that has been deleted. Any idea who asked the deleted question?

Nobody at Echinacities  knows, you are yank.

Traveler:

Traveler - quick test - What's a "cobbler"?

(of course, this Q is also a bit age-dependant :p)

Traveler:

Shining: Cobbler is a shoemaker, or, in plural, a dismissal of something trivial (like a trivial answer to a Q). Cobber is a chocolate coated toffee, or a friend. Cobb is the first half of a stage coach company. Co is the second half of that name.

What did you want to know? Why do Americans come to China? For work, tourism, absorb a different culture (face mask optional), cheap smokes, bad booze, women.

Traveler:

Why does that apply only to Americans? Surely at least one of those reasons applies to every foreigner.

And you forgot to mention the men, for the female foreigners

TedDBayer:

sorry, I stuck to the question, my answer applies to every nationality except the order might be different. I'm Canadian, I came for the women and cheap smokes. I thought foreign women didn't come here for the men.

Yes, it's a eChina-led worldwide conspiracy. Truly.

It's strange that question was blocked, though. Was there something odd or offensive about the question, dog? (pig, horse, canary.... whatever)

May also have been removed because of where the answers may lead....

I recently had one deleted, and I was told a) a few too many Q's in the same direction. b) not quite China-specific (though I see ways around it), and C) - it can go badly off-topic!!!

I get it!

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
