Hey wumao's are not joke. Those guys put their lives on the line. We should celebrate their valor.

mengxing:

Not this again. Also, nothing on my post suggested they are a joke so your comment is unnecessary.

Meng's not Chinese, if it somehow matters. Meng's just tired of having CFTU/Wumao stuff all over her questions.

I don't care if you are chinese...it's an open forum everyone has the right to ask honest questions.

what I find suspicious is the accounts that just ask random negative leading questions or comments about why we should feel insecure.

Ones like "Why are english teachers the lowest paid expats?" or "Has a mother in law ever ruined YOUR relationship?" "Did YOU hear about the latest food scandal?"

The dead giveaway is that no details or emotion gets in there. No personal stake in the question, just trying to stir the pot and get people to write angry things and feel upset.

You can tell the real posts where somebody has a genuine problem with their MIL because you can read the frustration in there. It doesn't read like a robot asking an unpleasant question.

or stuff with easy answers like how ESL teachers are the lowest paid expats because other ones are likely to be senior engineering/management staff. If they brought in expats to work at burger king they'd be paid less than teachers.

Just stuff to get people riled up and feel insecure. Maybe push them to turn to a certain anti-scam scam network we all know and love.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
