I did not get memo. It' a prerequisite to have a lobotomy b4 ask & 'answer' questions here.
crimochina:
i love how you mix very formal and proper english with b4. you trying to pass for a non chinese online is like me trying to pass for a 12 y/o white girl in real life. just sad and pathetic.
HappyExpat:::: "availability of sex"???????? Please tell me where you live!!! Where I am in china the only available sex you may get is if you marry them!
TedDBayer:
Look harder, almost every hotel has a massage floor, the cross street I live on is lined with beauty parlours, I notice many more other places but they don't seem to late, about 2 am if I go out for quick street food there are women every where from KTV and massage parlours. I haven't hit a KTV yet.
danielmarino:
Oh... I see... you meant paying sex. that I have here, not my style...so far. haha
TedDBayer:
It's not hard to meet average girls, just keep a couple of 100s showing in your pocket. BTW, I was telling the local girls they should have a delivery in 30 minutes or its free policy.
danielmarino:
Walking with a couple of 100 showing out from the pocket...feel like a Sir.
crimochina:
dan which city are you in?? here is my advice. get a qq account. learn some basic chinese . "what's your name?" "do you have qq?" try to talk to as many women as possible malls, kfc, (but don't pick up girls around your usual stomping grounds or hangouts) depending on your race, looks, nationality. 1/100 or 1/1000 will pan out. so get to work. the rewards are worth it.
crimochina:
and never use money to attract women. find 5 cheap restaurants. use them as first date places (alternate, because the staff will tell your date about the other women) first date meal shouldn't cost more than 50rmb for the 2. you want to attract the right girl not one out for $
danielmarino:
Wow! How did this post became about me getting women? I just believe the "availability of sex" in china is the same than back in my country or other places I have been before. Thank you all for your replies.
crimochina you seem to know the market pretty well.
Now...dinner for two for less than 50RMB? That's impressive. I don't think I an handle dinner for myself for less than that.
I heard they had good Chinese food.
diverdude1:
totally. I have found very few dishes I like to eat here. some things in hot-pot r ok, some bbq is ok, usually like langzhou la mian, but mostly food here sux. granted I do not frequent expensive restaurants.
oh, that famous duck place in BJ was pretty damn good too to be fair.
:
LOL, that's a good one because I remember to have had better Chinese food at the restaurant back in my Country than here.
Amonk:
Whenever people ask me whether I like Chinese food, I really really want to mention how Chinese food is way better in America. But I don't have the heart to tell them the truth.
Because it is a very historic place and is fascinating. The down side is most Chinese are hopeless hypochondriacs. Franck3
I came here in 2006 as a employee of Czech company to care about the business in Yiwu. Together with this, have to learn the language, which I did with my Chinese coworkers, never been in school for language. After years of drinking, playing and, of course, hard working, I met a women of my life. We marry, we have son and as the business in Yiwu went down, I've find work in Shanghai 2 years ago and we try to have nice life here, before we fly to some other, better place with better air and clean water ...
There are numerous reasons,i really don't know why so many Chinese take such things as weird.Money is not everything, there are many things much more important than that. Why do so many Chinese connect everything with money? It's natural for people to come here, just as they go to any other countries, people go anywhere they want to if they could.NO WHY!
You know that one world one dream theme they did during the olympics. That's why I'm here I'm here to live the dream whatever it may be!
Often people make more money for a western company to live in a foreign country.
My friends and I often threw darts randomly at a map to see where we would ride our motorcycles, then one day I dropped a dart at my feet and wondered what was down there, China?
chenhan:
I once watched a video in which two foreign guys rode a motorcycle traveling around the world, don't tell me you were just one of them?
I have not gone yet, but my intention is to head over as soon as possible. I personally want to take it all in for a full immersion experience. I have never been interested in city life and so I am hoping for a rural location if not town.
I have always been interested in the many sights that China has to offer in such a vast land. I want to see the monasteries, palaces, terracotta warriors etc. I also want to learn Mandarin and make new friends. The adventure and travel is all a big part of it.
I have already done Egypt, South Africa, French Alps etc. Now it is time for Asia
No specific reason, I thought about traveling to an exciting country , after that I picked up the most wrong one.
Everybody has a different reason for coming to China. My reason was simple enough: to really get to know and understand China and her people and culture much better. I also have been teaching languages [several, not just English] and International business.
While being here I learned much and find that all people all over the world are pretty much the same, even though our own governments often have different view points.
I also learned to improve my tai ji and gong fu from many different teachers and so can learn and practice for free; in the USA not so. In China, all it takes is to show up early
in the morning and do it. It is great to be here in China!
