Q: Why mainlanders dun wear parfum?

It smells awful particularly when they haven’t had their hairy armpits shaved.....

Once there was a man sitting next to me on the bus which was so full that I could barely move. The man smelled like a rotten lemon. Gosh! I had to suck it up for 15 mins before I could run…..

Hi Alice,

I think that you meant "Why don't Mainland Chinese women wear perfume?" ^^ Hmm, I don't know. That's an interesting question. I take it you've been around a lot of these gals that don't wear it. Guys wear cologne.

Remember that angry Koreans, SE Asians, and who knows what else use English as the language of choice to troll forums. So who knows where this poster is even from....

You should be on NYC subway (metro) system during rush hours..it ain't pretty..
Some are wearing perfumes some are wearing colognes (depending on gender)..Most guys use cheap cologne for few bucks...even the professional suits
it is worst than wearing no cologne, as it all is alcohol..
So not only China..NYC ain't any better.

Shaved armpits smell too.  It's a natural smell. From someone you like probably not that bad, in therory. (some) Mainlanders do wear perfume deodorants etc.

so your question is not about perfume but about deodorant. Some do, some don't as I find both cases on a daily basis.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
