Have you noticed this "S" that appears on at the bottom of every box/packaging for goods in China? What does it mean?
The White/Blue logo. It's the QS Label. QS means "Quality Safety" It is required on all food products.
It is regulated by the AQSIQ. Products with the label can be trusted to be possibly safe for human consumption.

Loved your little touch of sarcasm there Scandinavian, "possibly" safe for human consumption. Good one.
Gee, I thought the S stood for Safeway as in Safeway Supermarkets back in the States! Now that I think about it, the U.S. Safeway logo is red and white - not blue and white. Oh, well. Foiled again... or is that fooled again...?
