Sign up with Google Sign up with FacebookQ: Work Permit/Residence Permit?
I asked a question yesterday but i've just found out that the information in it was wrong.
I am changing jobs in Shanghai and wanted to know which documents I would need, turns out that as I haven't applied for my residence permit yet as I only went to Hong Kong for the Z visa (despite starting work almost 4 months ago now) a week ago, my school still haven't applied for the Foreign Expert Certificate. Does this mean, as the new school thinks, that I will just have to re-apply for the Z visa in Hong Kong and let them apply for the FEC?
Thanks

It means, you should stay away of LSD!
ajrigg:
Maybe it means I should stay away from LSD, it 100% doesn't mean I should stay away of LSD though
If you didn't get your RP yet there is no way to transfer it to a new employer, also if you are terminating your contract earlier your employer can (if they like you or whatever) but is not legally required to give you the letter of release (they are if you completed your contract and didn't break any term), means that without this letter you will have to start the entire process again (go to HK or back home, ...). And you are legally required to keep the FEC, not your employer, usually they want to keep so that they can cancel your visa in just a matter of seconds by going at the PSB, I tell my new employers everytime to add on the contract something like "Party A (me) will have the right to immediately terminate the contract without penalty If Party B (employer) refuses to provide Party A with the original Foreign Expert Certificate"" before signing anything, most employer will refuse for the aforementioned reasons, doesn't matter, they are crap if they don't play fair and I wouldn't want to work with such people anyway.

Will you stop posting charts all over the place in every damn topics ?! Freak'in STOP polluting topics ! It's annoying ! Maybe those topics are interesting *FOR YOU*, but it's not even closely related, it's the same having advertisement everywhere for things you don't care at all !!! Imagine if everybody does what you do, imagine how destructive it is ! STTTTTOOOPPPPPP !!!
icnif77:
click on web link below the chart! Try to explain yesterday's Q better than I did! He's back with 'new/same' Q today!
DrMonkey:
WTF is the relationship between silver prices and the question asked ? What the hell are you smocking/snorting ?
icnif77:
Your charts are PIArse complicated. Mine are much simpler. I like my life 'simple'! I can only tell from your charts that 'going to a dentist' is dangerous. I knew that, 'cause…….

Yeah obviously you're really into politicized agenda-driven economic theory...and i'm sure there are tons of forums out there where you can talk about that.
BTW Strangelove those graphs are pretty cool. Love the gravity one!
@Dr:
None!
But I answer it yesterday! In detail! OP got some 'knowledge' from yesterday's explanation, and remodel his Q today!
Even if you look yesterday's OP replies, she/he doesn't have a clue about Z/RP procedure.
'I went to HK and got my Working permit last week...' and similar!
I gave up yesterday already, and suggested SAFEA. No, OP has new one today!
Posting charts is 'killing me softly...with this chart' ….song.
It's the most boring subject for 99% of the people, I know! It's like the last music in club, before closing time......in 80-tis
'add-it': otherwise, silver chart is big 'indecision' or in short 'silver will probably break support line, and linger around $18. It won't go lower, so that's buying point for 'paper' silver (YHD) traders. Upswing will be tremendous, probably like in 80-tis.
Bullion buyers (buy&hold) are good to go at today's prices. IMO.
'capisce' pron. 'kapish'?

You must have too much spare time firstly reading all this shite and then regurgitating it on here.
When do you start back at work? Hopefully we'll get a break from it all then!

yes, you have apply for the whole z visa, FEC and resident permit again . Z visa is only one-month valid for you to stay in China to apply for the resident permit.
Hopefully your new school can assist you to apply for it. I just wonder, When your z visa was expired, what kind of visa you are holding? if you don't have visa, it means you overstay in China for almost 4 months. well , the fine will be huge I guess.
