Q: Would you be interested in playing a role in a t.v. drama here?

Don't know how much you know about the  t.v. drama's here. BUt however much you know about it if you were offered to play a role in one of those drama's would you do it? Or would that be against what you stand for? I guess it would depend on what type of drama it is!

It's a great opportunity for some. E.g. as opposed to getting 5 jiao per post, you can get 20RMB for 8 hours of being an extra for CCTV, 10RMB extra if you are required to shave your head. Of course if you are an actual non-Chinese person you will get a lot more money for being an extra. It's despicable that state tv give such shitty pay to locals when foreigners can get what amounts to weeks of salary in one day, by pretty much just being a white face.

I don't know who you are, man/woman, but if you got a job offer to work in TV, I'll take it.  I ain't proud.  Drama, period piece, talk show, "talent" show, variety show - any show will do, as long it is graced by - ahem - lithesome hostesses akin to those that that one local dude managed to violate wholesale recently.  God, what a world...

Depends on what it was about, and what the character was like.

I had a friend pass on details of a movie they wanted a foreign face for in a movie they were doing, and I needed to know what it was about before I'd even bother to send off my details. It was about Zhou En Lai, so yeah, I was willing to do it! (didn't happen, though :(  )

They'd probably like to tell my story, so sure why not. Or I could make a new series,,," Ted The Troll Terminator''.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
