Q: You know you've been living in China too long whenn.......?????
You have renewed motivation to learn more Mandarin...
but the reason is you want to be able to swear at all the people who annoy you.
When you get tired of it. Or to be more specific.. When your wife and daughter goes to your home country and don't want to come back.. I am tired of China. My wife is tired of China. China demands too much attention for every step of the foot. It demands too much for every pedal stroke. China demands total attention to every RMB spent. To put it bluntly, China advocates an easy carefree life. But it is not here.
Grand mothers going bottle hunting with their grandkids in tow.... Tired of it. Tired of the roads. Tired of elevator ettiqutte. Just feel tired
Time to go when you feel tired?

Tired of simple things like trying to pay your power bill being made ridiculously complicated and unpleasant..... tired of having the same person ask me for the third time what people in foreign land eat and trying again to explain it to a simple mind..... tired of reading in the Chinese news how things like the share market crash are the fault of hostile foreigners trying to hurt China.... tired of using a bathroom that reeks because everyone pisses on the floor and the cleaning lady uses a mop and cold water to spread the piss all over the bathroom and area outside the bathroom,and refuses to use bleach or anything similar.... tired of having something break or fall off every week in my near new rented apartment because everything is of shit quality and the people who built it didn't gave a damn about doing a decent job....
